January Jingles

Well we all made it through the holiday season here at Whitehall Elementary.  I always enjoy seeing the smiling faces of the kids again after a long break.  It is crazy that the school year will be half over on the 15th of this month.  It seems like not long ago we were playing football, cross country and volleyball.  Now we are well into our winter sports season.

As I get older, time seems to fly by faster and faster.  I was contemplating this thought throughout our break and came to the realization that it won’t be long until my little ones will be grown up and on their own.  As parents it is easy to get caught up in life and at times, looking over the small things.  Cherish the time you have with your kids because it will be gone before you realize.  Take the time to go sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, skating, or build a nice snowman this winter.  Get out and breathe some crisp winter air and enjoy some more family time.  I appreciate all of our community and will thank you for making Whitehall the wonderful place it is.  Let’s have a great second half of the year.  It will be over before we know it!
