November

We have had a lot of spooks around the school as of late and teachers have been managing candy withdrawals pretty well.  Our Halloween Parade on Friday was a success and it is always neat see to the various costumes that the students wear.  Throughout November we have a few events happening as a district.  Middle School Girls Basketball started last week and they have their first home game on Thursday, November 3rd.  The 1st quarter of school ends on this Friday, and the following Friday (the 11th) will be our Veteran’s Day Program starting at 10:00 am.  Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for the 14th and 16th of this month as well.  On the 23rd is a 1:00 release for Thanksgiving Break.  This will put us through hunting season and into December.  The K-5 program this year will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 7 pm. This is also the same night as our last scheduled MSGBB home game.

It is crazy to think that the holiday season is already coming quick.  In reminiscing on my childhood, it is during this time when many memories are made.  The comradery of family and friends is something that I always enjoy about the holidays.  It is wonderful to be able to spend time with these influential figures in our lives.  Many times during the holidays we all learn valuable life lessons that influence our train of thought throughout our time here on earth.  This time is a special time to all, and I encourage everyone to spread holiday cheer this year as well as years to come!
