Welcome 2017-2018 (August)

August 18, 2017

Whitehall Elementary Parents and Guardians,

Hello, I cannot believe that we are back into the swing of things here at Whitehall Elementary.  As with every year, I find myself asking where has the summer gone.  I hope all of you were able to find time this summer to spend some quality time with your little ones during our break out of school.  I didn’t get much traveling accomplished during my summer, that is unless you want to count driving back and forth in a hayfield with a swather and baler.  Those are thinking hours, that is for certain.

I am excited to see everyone and listen to experiences brought on over the break.  I have spoken with a few students this last week while here in my office and all of them assured me that they are ready for school to start.  This made me smile because although it is the end of summer, they are excited to be back for the year.  Throughout my time in the elementary I have seen a lot of Trojan Pride, and I am happy that I get to share this with all of your students.  Here at Whitehall Elementary we bleed purple and gold!

August 30th is right around the corner, so if you have not done so stop by and see what supplies your students may need and the teacher they are assigned.  Thank you for raising the best students in the elementary!  I look forward to seeing all of them shortly.

Sincerely,

Mr. McLean
