Well the smoke has been taking a toll on all of us as of late and I want some fresh air!   I have always enjoyed this time of year, the weather is turning colder and leaves are beginning to change color.  By next month, fall will be in full swing.

As far as the school realm goes, students and staff have been adjusting to our schedule and getting back in the groove of a new school year.  This is exciting for our elementary!  I find myself wondering at times what the year will bring and I sometimes shake my head at how fast the kids grow.  It makes me feel old when I see them come back in the fall and think about them as five and six-year-old students just coming through the doors of our building.

We have a new informational and grading system in place in our district this year, it is called Infinite Campus and we are happy that it will help us all keep track of our students throughout the year.  Our staff has attended many trainings on the program and are informed on how it works.  It will be a positive addition to our district.
