Mrs. Elizabeth Clarkson

Mrs. Clarkson was born and raised in Townsend, Montana.  Upon graduation from high school, she attended the University of Montana (Go GRIZ) and promptly moved to Columbus, Ohio.  She taught elementary school in Columbus for 3 years before she realized Montana was her home, and she returned to the Big Sky state.

She worked for several years teaching elementary and middle school, and she also worked as the Director of Education for Sylvan Learning in Helena.  She then took some time to earn a M.A. in secondary teaching and mathematics.

After earning her M.A., she began teaching in a tiny, two room school in Elliston, Montana.  She had students in 4th through 8th grade, and she taught all subjects.  This was a fun challenge, and she really enjoyed herself, but she was ready to try something new, so she began a new career as a middle and high school math teacher at Whitehall Schools.

Mrs. Clarkson has a wonderful family, an adorable dog, and a love of life.  She enjoys watching sports, running, doing math for fun, and spending time with her family.
